Background
As GM's experience agency partner, Rightpoint is tasked on two fronts:
1. Designing the Center Stack Displays (CSD) and Digital Instrument Cluster (DIC) for future car models across brands
2. Guiding GM towards modern workflow processes
My Role
I was integrated into the GM GUI design team to work on the interfaces for future GMC & Chevy truck/SUV models. The work involved theming, creation, and maintenance of the design systems for both brands. I also collaborated with product designers to ideate and design a number of domains. The work I did on GMC & Chevy impacted and informed other brand teams, so I’ve also contributed to Buick and Cadillac models to align on documentation, design systems, domain designs, and development.

Outcome
While I'm not privy to any metrics regarding use on the domains I helped design, a positive result from the Rightpoint and GM partnership was helping to create process documentation and optimization workflow, saving GM $100k+ in efficiency savings per year.
